DMWS is an international charity that has been providing medical welfare support to the military community for over 80 years. Our services are available to veterans, reservists, tri-service serving personnel and their families/carers.
Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of people in the Armed Forces Community? Do you have experience in providing support to others? We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a team, who is compassionate and passionate about supporting the Armed Forces Community.
We are recruiting for a full-time Welfare Officer in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
- Benefits:
- Annual Leave: 30 days a year plus Public Holidays (pro-rata'd for part-time employees).
- Pension: Auto enrolment onto DMWS workplace pension scheme – subject to eligibility. Minimum contribution of 5% matched by DMWS up to 6%.
- Death in Service Scheme: Three times your annual salary to nominated beneficiaries – subject to eligibility.
- Flexible Working: All flexible working requests are considered – many staff work flexible hours and partly or wholly from home.
