Location: Bristol (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Contract: Initial 14-month contract

The Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator/SAP Technical Consultant to join our team on a 14-month contract. This role will be responsible for managing, optimising, and supporting SAP landscapes, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across multiple environments.

You will play a key role in change management, transport processes, incident resolution, and system monitoring, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a robust SAP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup, run, and support Change Management and Transport Management processes
• Oversee end-to-end incident management and troubleshooting
• Monitor and configure SAP Basis settings, interface creation, and DDIC changes
• Administer and maintain multiple SAP instances (Development, Test, Production)
• Manage and monitor the SAP HANA landscape, ensuring optimal performance
• Implement SAP best practices and Golden Rules to maintain system integrity
• Perform SAP system security configuration and upgrades
• Conduct performance tuning and system optimization

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an SAP Basis Administrator or SAP Technical Consultant
• Strong expertise in SAP Change Management & Transport Management
• Hands-on experience in SAP HANA administration & monitoring
• Knowledge of SAP security, system performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Experience in SAP system upgrades and migrations
• Ability to define and implement SAP best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
