We're looking for a talented Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our Singapore office as we continue growing across Southeast Asia. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of M&E systems, who can effectively translate complex technical information into clear, actionable reports and communications.
What you'll be doing:
- Review tender requirements from Clients/Consultants, not limiting to tender documents, drawings, site surveys and tender briefs
- Attend site show-round, tender interview and meetings as and when necessary
- Liaise with internal project members for integrating of M&E design into proposals
- Develop M&E designs and layouts for proposals
- Develop cost proposals according to the design intent
- Source for and compare quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality
- Propose value engineering for M&E designs
- Ensure tender submissions/proposals are fully complied with Clients'/Consultants' requirements
- Ensure tender submissions/proposals are aligned to industry norms and adhere to local authorities' standards and compliance
- Negotiate and procure materials and services for awarded contracts
- Prepare, submit and discuss project cost variations with Clients/Consultants
- Review and certify claims from suppliers and contractors
- Carry out other duties, activities as may be directed by the company from time to time, either through its Management or the Employee's direct reporting superior
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant M&E experience
- Good safety knowledge and attitude
- Ability to liaise with statutory authorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and manage pressure
