Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Senior Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of scalable solutions to meet the business requirements of the back office support teams including IT, Finance, HR, Payroll. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and optimize the use of technology.

The role requires the ability to lead colleagues (technology and business) and selected 3rd parties to deliver approved projects on time and within budget to agreed scope.

The successful candidate should have prior experience of implementing various back office solutions within an integrated ERP application landscape.

  • Act as a trusted technology advisor to the IT, Finance, HR, L&D, and Payroll teams.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into technical requirements.
  • Lead the development of required business cases to support the selection of solutions and 3rd parties.
  • Contribute to the project management methodology approach required for Conexus stakeholders.
  • Design & drive the delivery of technology solutions to meet business requirements in agreed budgets and timescales through to stabilization.
  • Collaborate with the Head of IT Services to design the technology service support model of implemented solutions.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with selected 3rd party implementation partners, ensuring cost-effective service from delivery partners.
  • Collaborate with the IT Head of IT Services & Security to proactively manage risks associated with all the systems and underlying infrastructure used.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for constant value optimization, such as integration & automation.
  • Support business impact assessment and business change related to new technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Architect to ensure the solution meets organizational architecture standards.
  • Present and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable manner.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of all solutions, including design, test, and install specifications and operational procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to proactively identify potential technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 4 years of project management experience in back office enterprise implementations in an ERP application landscape.
  • Proven experience in business case development to support project prioritization.
  • Excellent Business Analyst skills in ensuring business requirements are captured and business processes are optimized.
  • Experience with real-time integration of HRIS & Payroll with other applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and services.
  • Proven experience in change management in ensuring the adoption of new HRIS solutions.
  • Management and reporting of project budgets.
  • Management of 3rd party technology partners to deliver functional development and projects.
  • Project Management qualification (Prince 2 Practitioner or PMI) – preferred.
