Purpose of the role
The Data & Reporting Analyst plays a key role in shaping and delivering data reporting across the business, starting with Finance and extending into HR and other departments. This is a hands-on role for a candidate who brings strong analytical experience, a deep understanding of business systems, and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. You’ll be central to driving meaningful insights and automation as the organisation scales its data maturity.
- Define and shape reporting requirements across Operations, Finance, HR, and other departments
- Work with senior stakeholders to define and implement a cohesive data analytics and reporting strategy and framework for the business
- Work with business leads to build and maintain financial, operational, and HR dashboards and reports
- Work closely with the data architect and modeler to align on data structures and modelling best practices
- Work closely with IT and technology leads to identify and implement a cost-effective data analytics and reporting toolset that provides value to the business operations
- Use Power BI and other tools to deliver accessible, accurate, and timely insights
- Drive automation of reporting processes and reduce manual data manipulation
- Support data integration and movement from various systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HR, LMS, ATS)
- Work hands-on across systems and datasets, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Deliver insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a data/reporting or analytics role
- Strong understanding of financial and HR data/reporting requirements
- Proficient in Power BI, with a proven ability to create effective dashboards and reports
- Solid background in automation and process improvement within reporting functions
- Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems, and data integration across platforms
- Comfortable working collaboratively with data teams (e.g., architects, modelers)
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder communication skills
