Conekt Legal is partnering with a global law firm to recruit a Commercial Technology Lawyer (3+ PQE) to join an innovative legal delivery team supporting major household name clients in the delivery of legal services. This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys commercial contracts and technology-focused work but is looking for a more flexible and collaborative model than traditional private practice.

The role offers the chance to work closely with a single client as an embedded extension of its legal team while still benefiting from the resources, expertise and training of a leading international law firm.

The Opportunity

You will be part of a dedicated team advising on a broad range of commercial and technology-related agreements, working closely with the client’s in-house legal function and wider specialist teams. The work is varied and commercially focused, covering areas such as:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements
  • Advising on outsourcing arrangements and supplier contracts
  • Supporting the client on day-to-day commercial legal matters
  • Managing contracts and providing pragmatic legal advice to business stakeholders
  • Collaborating with lawyers, technologists and operational specialists to deliver legal services in innovative ways

The structure of the team allows lawyers to take greater ownership of contracts and client relationships than is often possible in traditional private practice environments.

About You

You will be a qualified solicitor with:

  • 3+ years’ PQE
  • Experience advising on commercial contracts, ideally including technology or outsourcing agreements
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • A commercial mindset and ability to provide practical legal advice
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • An interest in technology-enabled legal services and new ways of working
