Conekt Legal is partnering with a leading UK law firm to recruit a Corporate Lawyer (1–4 PQE) to join its growing Future Energy team in Belfast. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-profile renewable energy M&A transactions as part of one of the most active clean energy legal teams globally. You’ll advise on a wide range of deals including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and strategic partnerships across the rapidly expanding energy transition sector.

The Opportunity
You will join a collaborative corporate team with a strong national presence and a reputation for delivering commercially focused advice on complex transactions. The role offers exposure to innovative clean energy projects and the chance to work with clients operating at the forefront of the energy transition.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting senior lawyers on renewable energy M&A transactions
- Assisting with transaction management, due diligence and deal coordination
- Drafting and negotiating ancillary documentation and commercial agreements
- Working with clients across a range of clean energy technologies including wind, solar, battery storage, hydrogen and electric vehicle infrastructure
- Collaborating with specialists across disciplines to support projects throughout their lifecycle
You will be:
- Qualified solicitor with 1–4 years’ PQE
- Experience advising on corporate transactions; it is ideal you have energy experience but not essential - strong corporate solicitors interested in working in energy will also be considered
- Strong drafting, organisational and communication skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Interest in the clean energy sector and energy transition
