The Role
You will manage your own caseload of employment matters both contentious and non-contentious. Day-to-day this will involve:
- Advising clients on a broad range of employment matters to include TUPE, reorganisations, contracts, policies, senior exits etc.
- Advise clients and take ownership on employment claims from initial drafting of pleadings to conducting advocacy and working with counsel
- Work closely with the corporate and commercial teams and provide corporate support on large and high-value transactions
- Mentor junior solicitors and assist with the future development and growth of the practice
You will be!
- Qualified Solicitor - ideally 4 + years PQE
- PQE will have been focused on employment within a commercial firm where you will have exposure to a broad range of employment matters
- Previous experience of managing tribunal matters and employment litigation experience
- Experience of managing your own caseload
- Experience of giving practical, commercial advice to respondent clients
- Strong communication skills and client development skills
