An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded real estate associate to join a growing Belfast based team that works closely with a highly respected UK and international real estate practice. As one of the first dedicated real estate lawyers in the Belfast office, you'll have the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of the team while benefiting from the expertise, resources and client base of an established international practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious real estate lawyer seeking top-tier work, international exposure and long-term career development and would suit a qualified solicitor (NI/ROI/England & Wales) with 3 + years PQE.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Advising corporate clients on their UK property portfolios and occupational requirements
  • Supporting investment acquisitions and disposals across a variety of asset classes
  • Assisting institutional investor clients with asset management projects
  • Handling due diligence and transaction management work
  • Working alongside banking teams on real estate finance matters
  • Supporting corporate transactions with real estate elements, including domestic and cross-border M&A activity
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to the delivery of exceptional client service
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members and support staff
  • Collaborating with colleagues across multiple offices and jurisdictions

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Approximately 3-4 years' PQE in commercial real estate
  • Experience gained within a recognised commercial, national or international law firm
  • Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial property transactions
  • Experience of managing transactions and dealing directly with clients
  • Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for team working
  • Ambition to continue developing your technical expertise and client management skills
