About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Account Executive to support our growth. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter who understands the sales process. You know how to sell innovation and can drive deals forward to compress sales cycles. Always seeking new opportunities, you must be able to prospect within your territory with a strong ability to close net new accounts. This role sits in our London office with a hybrid schedule of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the office.
What will you be doing?
- Owning and managing your assigned territory with strategic focus and accountability
- Building, developing, and closing new client relationships that drive long-term value
- Partnering closely with our solution specialists to ensure technical wins
- Exceeding pipeline and revenue targets, and landing new logos through your referral network, partner activity, outbound contact, and supporting marketing events and campaigns
- Highlighting Conduktor’s value proposition to raise curiosity and interest, and organizing demos and meetings with clients and our technical team
- Utilizing a solution approach to selling and creating value for customers
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of our solutions and value propositions
What experience are we looking for?
- You have 5-10 years of sales experience, including in an Account Executive (or equivalent) role within SaaS or a related industry, ideally selling enterprise data software. Selling into US banks is a plus.
- You have experience encouraging customers at senior levels to think differently about a problem or challenge.
- You understand some or all of the data technology ecosystem, especially Apache Kafka, Data Streaming, and the broader technology landscape; essentially the key players, technologies, and challenges being solved.
- You’re a proactive, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude.
- You have previously worked in a startup.
