We are looking to recruit the next generation of Project technicians.
We have a great opportunity for committed ambitious, intelligent people with a solid work ethic and a will to win to join our growing team as Project Coordinators.
This role combines both pre-order and post-order scheduling, with responsibility for preparing quote schedules, drawings, and documentation at tender stage, and supporting live projects through to production.
Working to structured briefs from senior colleagues and Business Development Managers, you will coordinate both pre-order (quote schedules) and post-order (project delivery) activities.
Your role is about accuracy, consistency, and throughput — ensuring projects progress without delay and that all required information is delivered in a timely, organised manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
As Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will span both pre-order and post-order activities. You will prepare quote schedules, drawings, and documentation at tender stage, then support the smooth progression of live projects through production. Working to structured briefs, you will ensure information is accurate, organised, and delivered on time, coordinating across departments to keep projects moving without delay.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules for both tender stage and live project stage.
- Produce detailed & costed quote schedules and supporting documentation from client briefs.
- Translate briefs from senior staff into clear schedules and drawings using in-house systems.
- Assist the senior team with Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring timely resolution.
- Produce and manage production and approval drawings (CAD training provided).
- Generate accurate bills of materials from automated systems for procurement.
- Coordinate and issue schedule/drawing packs for client approval.
- Maintain well-organised records of project documentation on the server.
- Participate in internal handover meetings to ensure smooth departmental flow.
- Provide general project support as required by business needs.
Development Pathway
We invest in people who are committed to long-term growth. This role comes with a structured development pathway designed to build technical competence and increase responsibility over time:
- 0–6 months: Core induction – learning our scheduling tools, product range, and documentation standards while producing schedules under guidance.
- 6–12 months: Increased responsibility – handling smaller schedules independently and supporting live projects.
- 12–24 months: Full autonomy – managing complex project briefs, producing schedules with minimal supervision, and ensuring seamless order-to-production handover.
- Beyond 24 months: Opportunity to progress into senior coordinator or project management roles, depending on ability and ambition.
Person Specification
You will be a highly motivated, driven individual who puts our customers at the centre of everything you do, you will relentlessly chase down information and remove hurdles in the way of project progress.
