We have a great opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator to join our growing team in our central Leeds office. Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum (DoE)
Location: Office based, LS11 5BD
Shift: Monday – Friday
Contract: Full time permanent (part-time considered, minimum 25 hours p/w)
What you will be doing:
- Managing the HR inbox and responding within an appropriate time frame or escalating queries to HR Advisor where necessary
- Drafting employee letters (probation, disciplinary, absence invites and contract variations)
- Processing and tracking sickness and absence
- Processing and tracking HR activities, actions and processes
- Ensuring personnel files are maintained accurately
- Onboarding new hires including pre-employment paperwork (Contracts)
General:
- Liaise with Payroll and Planning teams to ensure accuracy of payroll instructions
- Ensure payroll submission is correct and submitted within given timescales
- Onboard new employees: checking right-to-work documentation and sending necessary employment checks
- Conduct HR inductions and support new hires enroll on HR systems
- Track and monitor key employee processes (expiry of probations and right-to-work documentation)
- Play an active role in the Employee Engagement Team
What we are looking for:
- Attention to detail
- Strong administration skills: letter writing, organisation, contract preparation
- Good knowledge and experience of MS office packages e.g Office 365, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
- General UK employment law knowledge (desired)
- HR administration experience (desired)
