Here at Conduent we have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to manage a project to implement key deliverables and improvements at the Conduent offices in Leeds. This will involve working across multiple business areas, including technology, operations, and finance to develop and deploy client‐facing services. This role will support a busy transportation client and involves the department that deals with the managing of customer calls, web chat and correspondence. Being enthusiastic and motivated to deliver an outstanding level of service is paramount to our global mission‐critical services.
Contract Details
- Contract: Full time, Permanent.
- Location: Leeds, LS11 5BD
- Shifts: Monday to Friday normal office hours – fully office based.
- Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)
Your Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Account Director, accountable for day‐to‐day delivery, management, coordination, and control of improvement initiatives across the business, including implementation of company project lifecycle governance to ensure outcomes deliver required benefits.
- Be accountable for accurate forecasting and reporting of key project information, updating any agreed project management reports and documentation, and feeding into senior management and the client.
- Generate effective engagement, communication, and involvement of stakeholders (internal, suppliers and the client).
- Ensure robust cost versus benefits analysis, financial management and commercial awareness underpin all business decisions.
- Assist in visualising this as part of the overall improvement program.
- Engage regularly with the Account Director to proactively manage and escalated risks, key decisions, and maintain momentum on project progression.
- Liaison with key contract partners working to ensure deliverables are on track for required timelines and benefit realization.
- Champion the adoption of new technology and processes to support the improvement in performance.
- Conduct the role in accordance with the values and behaviours set out in Conduent policy.
- Drive excellent standards and performance in health and safety and wellbeing, risk management and ensure compliance with the H&S Safety Policy.
What We Are Looking For
- Prince 2 (or equivalent) accredited.
- An effective decision maker, with experience and knowledge of project implementation and cultural change.
- Experience of managing project resources to deliver on time, scope, and cost.
- Strong financial governance with an ability to build quality business cases, forecast, and link project plans with the wider structure on interdepartmental business plans.
- Capable of identifying project risks and issues, acting on those identified and working with colleagues to find a solution.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to negotiate and influence at all levels of the business including operations and strategy and maintain effective internal and external relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office packages – Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
