This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role sits at the intersection of delivery and finance—bringing visibility, insight, and control to how our projects and resources are planned, delivered, and accounted for. This role acts as a key link between Finance and Project Management, tracking project performance, surfacing insights, and ensuring every hour and pound spent aligns with planned outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on project-specific revenue, costs, and gross margin, aligned with agreed delivery milestones
- Maintain and reconcile Work-in-Progress (WIP) balances monthly, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition
- Partner with Project Managers to align project budgets, forecasts, and delivery data
- Identify and escalate financial risks, budget variances, and delivery gaps proactively
- Provide inputs into rolling cashflow forecasts, billing cycles, and resource planning
- Build and maintain simple dashboards or trackers to support visibility and business decisions
- Support scenario planning, pricing reviews, and commercial analysis with data-led insights
You should have:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- AAT Level 4 or actively working toward ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience in commercial finance, project accounting, or delivery-focused finance roles
- Strong Excel or financial modelling skills with a sharp eye for accuracy
- A collaborative communicator with a curious, problem-solving mindset
