Responsibilities
- Drive the entire proposal process, from reviewing RFPs and tenders to submission, ensuring high-quality, competitive outputs.
- Create detailed proposal budgets and timelines, ensuring feasibility and alignment with project scope and client expectations.
- Review and manage the lifecycle of RFPs, bids, and tenders from initiation to submission.
- Perform comprehensive contract reviews to assess risk, compliance, and alignment with company goals.
- Coordinate bid phases, manage timelines, and ensure the seamless integration of input from technical, creative, and commercial teams.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and client requirements in all submissions.
- Maintain databases of costs, manage rate cards, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the bid process.
- Engage directly with clients to clarify project expectations and manage pre-award negotiations.
- Work with proposal submittal platforms such as Ariba, Aconex, or similar systems to streamline the submission process.
- Draft and manage change orders during the proposal phase to reflect client requirements and scope adjustments.
- Continuously improve proposal processes and templates for efficiency and effectiveness.
- You should have
- Proven experience managing proposals for construction, technology, or creative projects.
- Strong understanding of creative and technological disciplines.
- Expertise in reviewing contracts and writing detailed RFP responses for multi-million-pound projects.
- Exceptional budgeting and cost estimation skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple simultaneous proposals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across creative, technical, and commercial departments.
- Knowledge of global construction and procurement phases.
