One of Conduct's early marketing hires. We're a talent dense team tackling the hard problem behind AI adoptions at the world’s largest enterprises. You'll help tell this story on our channels, build the developer community around it, and bring more people like us through the door.

Why Conduct

We believe the world's largest companies should move at the speed of their ideas. Today, they run at the speed of the decade-old systems they run on. The systems aren’t the problem, it’s the fact they hold every decision these companies have ever made in custom code, and that adding the next change can take months. We're building the AI operating system that absorbs this complexity and gives enterprises back their speed and ambition. Major enterprises already trust us with their most critical systems, we've closed game-changing partnerships, just raised a $60M Series A, and demand is outpacing what we can service. We're a small, talent-dense team doing our life's work out of London and NYC. Extreme ownership, high velocity, low-ego collaboration. What you build here shapes the company and how the world's largest companies operate. We sponsor visas and are convinced diverse teams build better products, so we especially encourage underrepresented groups in tech to reach out.

About the role

We want someone who can make what we're building impossible to ignore. This isn't a traditional social media role. You'll own how Conduct shows up in public, telling our story to the technical people who matter to us at every level: the engineers who'll become future Conductors, the developers and IT teams who run the world's largest companies, the IT leaders who decide what those companies build on, and the executives who decide how fast they move. That's a wide range, and you speak to all of it. You can take a hard technical idea and make it land with an engineer in a thread and with a CIO in a two-minute video, without making it untrue for either. You have something interesting to say and aren't afraid to be bold, opinionated or a little unconventional. You think in campaigns, not posts, and you know taste matters more than volume. You'll sit close to the founders and engineers building this, help them share their work in a voice that cuts through, and work with recruiting so that attention turns into great hires. The same work should keep investors seeing our momentum and journalists wanting to tell our story.

What you'll do

  • Own Conduct's social presence, starting with X, then LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitch, and meet developers in the other places they gather (GitHub, Hacker News, Discord, Reddit) when it makes sense.
  • Build an audience and a community among technical people at every level, from engineers to IT leaders and executives, online and in person through events, meetups and launches.
  • Create campaigns that show off our culture, our people, our hardest engineering problems, and our wins.
  • Help our engineers and founders share the work in public, from threads and a tech blog to live streams and talks.
  • Turn customer wins, launches, and milestones into content that gets investors and journalists paying attention.
  • Shape our employer brand so it's obvious from the outside what it's like to build here.
  • Track what works, from engagement to how social turns into candidates, and double down on it.

What we're looking for

  • You're genuinely part of the developer and tech community, ideally because you come from it.
  • A track record of growing an audience or community online, whether for a B2B, SaaS, or developer-focused company, or for yourself.
  • A strong point of view and something interesting to say. You know the difference between content people scroll past and the content they quote.
  • Exceptional writing. You can make complex technical ideas sharp and engaging without making them untrue.
  • The range to switch registers. One social campaign might need a sharp thread for developers, a clean story for journalists, and a momentum signal for investors, all in one company voice.
  • You're comfortable sitting with engineers, digging into the technical detail, and getting it right.
  • A clear spike in social or community, and range beyond it. Video, design, live streaming, or developer relations experience is a strong plus.
  • A bias to action. You ship quickly and are hands-on regardless of seniority.
  • An appetite for being in the office every day, close to the team and the work.

Your seniority does not matter. What matters is taste, craft, and the ability to build an audience, quickly. We're based in London and New York and sponsor visas from everywhere. We're convinced diverse teams build better products and especially encourage underrepresented groups in tech to reach out!
