Conduct is building the AI operating system for Enterprise IT, starting with the deepest cost centre and innovation bottleneck in global business: the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and change management of mission‑critical enterprise systems. Across the world’s largest companies, thousands of internal analysts and developers, plus fleets of external consultants, spend their days manually understanding custom code, resolving incidents, analysing processes, and preparing system change requests. For many enterprises, this translates into hundreds of millions of dollars per year just to keep core systems running ‑ slowing down innovation at the very centre of the business. Conduct changes this fundamentally.

We are the first system that actually understands enterprise applications bottom‑up: from the single code line, to logic, to entire system interdependencies and can reason about them the way the best human experts do, but at machine scale. We’re starting with SAP, the backbone of over 90% of global commerce. Customers such as Daimler Truck, Rittal, and Heidelberg Materials already use Conduct to automate system analysis, resolve issues in minutes, cut millions in IT spend, and accelerate ERP transformations by months. But SAP is only the starting point. We’re building toward a future where enterprise systems are self‑aware, self‑healing, and continuously optimising across the software stack. We turn Enterprise IT from a bottleneck to a driver of innovation velocity.

As Executive Assistant & Office Manager at Conduct, you will be the operational backbone for our founding team and the cultural engine of the wider company. You’ll be trusted with high‑leverage, high‑trust responsibilities across administration, scheduling, communication, and cultural experience. You’ll move fast, think clearly, and set a standard for excellence across everything you touch.

You will split your time across two key domains:

  • Executive Assistant Responsibilities
    • Own calendar and travel management across three busy founder schedules
    • Coordinate high‑stakes meetings with internal and external stakeholders
    • Support scheduling and logistics for interviews, recruiting, and events
    • Draft and manage external communications – including replying on behalf of founders to investors, candidates, and customers
    • Monitor and triage inboxes where needed, acting as a first line of defence
    • Lead on accounting and expense processes for the company
    • Support founder participation in external conferences, events, and speaking engagements
  • Office Manager Responsibilities
    • Plan and deliver bi‑annual off‑site trips for the full company
    • Take the lead on organising team socials, cultural rituals, and in‑office events
    • Manage daily in‑office experience including meals, snacks, and wellbeing perks
    • Monitor and improve the workspace to ensure it scales with the team
    • Be a proactive culture multiplier – creating systems, rituals, and experiences that make Conduct an exceptional place to work
    • Do whatever it takes to keep the team happy, supported, and productive – from fixing broken chairs to rethinking our onboarding flow

We’re looking for someone exceptional – not just a safe pair of hands, but a thoughtful operator with emotional intelligence, judgment, and velocity to keep pace with our founders and help the whole company run better. You might be an experienced EA or OM, or someone from a different operational background who knows how to move fast, keep others focused, and bring energy to a team. You likely have:

  • Previous experience as an EA, office manager, or high‑trust operations partner in a fast‑moving environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, calendar control, and stakeholder coordination
  • Confidence handling external comms with senior stakeholders, partners, and investors
  • Excellent written communication: calm, warm, and polished
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, with a strong instinct for when to accelerate and when to handle
  • Track record of creating thoughtful team experiences – whether onboarding, events, or cultural rituals
  • Experience managing office logistics, food, budgets, and external vendors
  • High levels of energy, ownership, and resourcefulness – you fix things before anyone else notices

Our founders’ time and energy is better protected, focused, and leveraged. The office feels thoughtful, calm, and energising – even during the busiest periods. External stakeholders consistently compliment how professional and enjoyable it is to interact with Conduct. Culture scales as the company grows, and people genuinely enjoy coming to work each day. You anticipate problems before they escalate, and create systems that prevent them happening again. You are a trusted operator and cultural anchor: people come to you because they’ll get it done.

This Role Isn’t for You If…

  • You’ve only worked in large, slow‑moving environments with lots of process
  • You struggle with ambiguity or expect every task to come with instructions
  • You aren’t excited by the operational and cultural demands of early‑stage startups
  • You’re looking for a role where every day looks the same – this one won’t be

We’re a high‑energy, high‑trust team with big ambitions. Our culture blends focus, intensity, and humour: we’re serious about impact, but never take ourselves too seriously. We’re here to build a generational company, and we know that means pushing past limits whilst enjoying the ride together. In our Fitzrovia office, collaboration is fast and constant. Everyone owns their outcomes and takes initiative, but we succeed only as a team. We believe in learning fast, supporting each other radically, and finding joy in the process. We know that building a company is a journey that we are on together – whether you’re a Co‑Founder, an early hire, or a future colleague – and we are intentional about growing together as a team and as individuals.

Benefits include generous cash compensation, share options under the tax‑efficient EMI scheme, broad private health insurance including dental and optical cover, monthly wellbeing payment on top of your salary to spend as you wish, breakfast and dinner every day in the office, a truly unparalleled snack selection, bi‑annual full‑team off‑sites, regular socials, coaching from Diana Chapman, and a take‑what‑you‑need leave policy.

We welcome applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship. Conduct is an equal opportunities employer. Diversity is a non‑negotiable asset to our company and our team. We believe that a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences makes us stronger and helps us build better together. We particularly encourage applications from groups that are under‑represented in technology and engineering, as we know that diverse teams create the best solutions.
