Are you an experienced leader in the drainage or highways sector ready to take the next step? We’re looking for a hands-on Contracts Manager to oversee our client's busy operational hub. You’ll be the driving force behind multiple contracts, from cyclical gully emptying and reactive jetting to CCTV inspections and emergency call-outs, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery every time. This is a great chance for an experienced Depot/Contracts Manager to make a real impact in a growing and collaborative team!
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and programming day-to-day works across multiple contracts.
- Leading by example to promote and manage safe working practices at all times.
- Ensuring standards of work, KPIs, and contractual targets are consistently achieved.
- Taking full accountability for depot performance – including P&L responsibility.
- Supporting, mentoring, and managing depot and contract teams.
- Building strong, lasting client relationships through clear communication and excellent service.
- Driving business development opportunities and pricing new works.
- Conducting regular site audits with a focus on quality and health & safety.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a similar role within drainage and/or highways.
- Strong knowledge of operational programming and resource planning.
- A solid understanding of drainage and highways processes.
- A proactive, people-focused leader who thrives in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- CSCS card holder (desirable) and Health & Safety qualifications (SMSTS/IOSH desirable).
