Are you an inspirational client leader who thrives on turning big ideas into unforgettable experiences? Our client, a fast-growing, award-winning events agency based in London, are recruiting for a passionate, creative and energetic Account Director. This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning team with an open and collaborative culture…and if you’re a doggy owner, they are welcome in the office!

This role involves supporting high-profile global events, so you’ll need to be comfortable with occasional international travel. There will be time, particularly during event delivery, when flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends, are required. In return, you’ll join a supportive team that genuinely recognises and rewards your commitment!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and grow client relationships, building deep trust through consistent delivery, strategic guidance and proactive relationship management.
  • Develop and manage client plans, identifying opportunities for organic growth, improving profitability and ensuring alignment with agency standards (data security, D&I, compliance, etc.).
  • Own financial management across projects — creating budgets, controlling spend, meeting profit targets, and ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation.
  • Partner with creative and content teams to shape impactful experiences, encourage innovative thinking and elevate the quality of event content and formats.
  • Contribute to agency culture and insights, sharing industry trends, supporting thought leadership and championing new ideas internally.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience delivering end-to-end events projects, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including effective team management, supplier coordination and confident client-facing communication.
  • Creatively minded problem solver with originality, curiosity and the ability to bring fresh ideas to every project.
  • Resilient, adaptable and proactive, able to work autonomously, travel when required and stay calm and solution-focused under pressure.
  • A collaborative, people-focused team player with emotional intelligence, integrity, professionalism and a positive, can-do attitude.

Fantastic package on offer including a competitive annual salary, performance-based bonus, private medical insurance, training budget, flexible working and a dog-friendly office!
