Musician & entrepreneur. I build cult brands.
Team member needed for condiment start-up based in Chatham.
We’re Condimaniac – a small business that manufactures over 30 types of condiments here in Medway. Other than produce everything we sell, we also run our own social media as well as our website. We’ve been lucky to have grown significantly recently so we now need some help.
What you’ll be doing:
- Help us make award-winning condiments like ketchup, hot sauce, seasoning and pickles
- Labelling and finishing products
- Logging and tracing batches
- Giving feedback on new products
- Cleaning and washing up
- Anything else that might come up – a little packing boxes, organising the kitchen, building things etc. (We\’re a small business so we all pitch in!)
Due to the nature of our company we are looking for someone not afraid to dip into every part of the business. We need someone who is:
- Interested in food, especially sauces, seasonings and pickles
- Able to get to our unit in Chatham reliably (ideally you’ll be driving)
- Previous experience in food/catering/hospitality bonus but not essential as we will train you
- Ok with working on your feet. This isn’t an office job, so it is reasonably hands on
In return we offer a fun work environment, lots of complimentary sauce, flexible hours and the possibility for the role to expand into a more specialised position, potentially full-time.
Interviewing to start Immediately.
Hiring by end of September.
HOW TO APPLY:
We only care about one thing for your initial application! Reply to this job posting in the \’Cover Letter\’ section with the answer to the following questions:
1. What’s your favourite condiment and why?
2. How long would you last in a zombie apocalypse and why?
3. You’ll be our fifth employee. What skills can you bring that we might not already have?
We won’t be able to reply to applicationsthat don’t do this one step.
Can’t wait to meet you!
Thanks
