Condé Nast is looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead delivery across a series of product technology projects that aim to achieve Condé Nast’s ambitious goals to grow our Games offering starting with The New Yorker. The ideal candidate has a background in program management across technology solutions that meet business needs. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills in complex organisations, and the ability to map out and navigate technology delivery across dependent cross-functional teams. You have a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

A new program of Technology projects has been planned to support the future growth of consumer engagement features (puzzles and games and other projects to increase user engagement) in our digital and mobile product experiences. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects that span and innovate across our product ecosystem. Your work will directly contribute to providing seamless and unified digital customer experiences.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead regular cross-functional forums with stakeholders company-wide including our Product, Design, Engineering, Data & Product Analytics delivery teams.
  • Work across cross-functional Condé Nast Engineering teams to ensure accurate technical resources are allocated to deliver Product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with third party technology providers and Engineering teams to define and manage scope, workflows, and ensure accurate allocation of resources.
  • Take ownership of regular stakeholder and project governance forums at a program-level and report up to board-level Stakeholders.
  • Liaise with departments where inputs are required for execution including: Finance, Legal, Editorial, Consumer Revenue, Commercial.
  • Responsible for management of status reports for the program and leading proactive program communication.
  • Responsible for program, project and workstream documentation and keep it updated.
  • Lead the optimisation of IT and SDLC best practice frameworks (ITIL, LEAN, AGILE).
  • Assist with the Product Director with the program business case development.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leads to define and track program goals using OKRs.
  • Drive performance across multiple teams to stay focused on strategic goals.
  • Support engagement with internal and external stakeholders to confirm business requirements.
  • Set teams up for success by collaborating closely with them in sprint activities.
  • Influence a diverse set of stakeholders with your excellent relationships.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong programme/project experience in Product or Technology field.
  • Experience with delivery of direct-to-consumer and/or advertising-based digital product experiences.
  • You are self-driven and motivated to deliver results-oriented outcomes.
  • You are highly collaborative and able to effectively translate and communicate technical concepts.
  • You build trusted relationships and can demonstrate proven success in negotiating priorities.
  • You are able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience with Program/Project Management and Agile Software Development toolsets.
  • PMI/PMP Certification or Prince 2 qualification.
  • You love working with a global team and are flexible to adjust hours accordingly.
  • You raise the bar on all work, and share best practices.
