The Role:
VETTE is seeking a Product Manager to lead our platform development across marketplace functionality, e-commerce infrastructure, and strategic technology partnerships. VETTE is a two-sided marketplace connecting brands to creator talent and their audiences at scale and provides creators intuitive tools to build their own online specialty stores.
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute product roadmap across marketplace, platform, and internal tooling
- Translate the company strategy into clear product priorities and releases
- Balance user experience, technical constraints, and business goals
- Own product documentation, specs, and success metrics
Technology & Platform Ownership
- Oversee platform architecture decisions with engineering leadership
- Manage the evolving VETTE tech stack and tooling ecosystem
- Ensure scalability, performance, and integration reliability
- Lead build vs. Scope, prioritise, and launch new integrations
- Work with engineering to ensure clean API implementations
- Identify strategic partners that unlock new marketplace capabilities
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner closely with design to ensure a design-led product approach
- Lead sprint planning, prioritisation, and delivery coordination
- Act as the primary bridge between business, engineering, and design teams
- Maintain visibility into timelines, blockers, and dependencies
Marketplace & E-commerce Optimisation
- Improve onboarding, merchant tools, transaction flows, and analytics
- Optimise conversion, retention, and platform usability
- Support monetisation features and new marketplace mechanics
About you:
- Strong experience in product management (or equivalent startup experience)
- Experience building marketplace, platform, or e-commerce products
- Strong technical fluency working with APIs, integrations, and backend systems
- Proven ability managing engineering and design teams simultaneously
- Experience launching third-party integrations or platform partnerships
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving startup environments
Strong Plus Factors:
- Experience with Shopify ecosystem or headless commerce
- Background in creator platforms, media tech, or consumer marketplaces
- Familiarity with privacy/compliance tooling (like Ethyca)
- Experience with growth experimentation or monetisation systems
- Prior startup or early-stage company experience
