The Role
Condé Nast is looking for a creative and multi‑talented Designer to join our marketing team, with proven digital design experience, who can work well under pressure. Working closely with the revenue team and external content creators, the designer will champion brand standards and develop the marketing experience across all consumer revenue streams and channels. The role includes best practices for email and social design, UX experience and full optimisation of websites.
What you will be doing
- Work to develop top‑level visual solutions, including new product design
- Maintain brand standards across all properties including websites, social platforms, newsletters, videos and print channels
- Commission original artwork, including illustrations, infographics, icons, and animations
- Develop creative, compelling and effective materials for cross‑channel marketing campaigns, including idea generation, creative execution and channel optimisations
- Assist in managing workflow and project management for all design projects, including user‑generated content, working collaboratively with editorial teams and freelancers
- Help keep and maintain the digital creative budget
Who you are
- Full digital design capabilities, including advanced InDesign & Photoshop skills
- Good knowledge of digital channel best practices and optimisations
- Web design skills
- Video editing & animation skills, ideally including filming skills – After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Experience in product design
- Experience in print design is preferred but not essential
- Shoot direction experience is preferred – working with creatives from brand teams
- Industry knowledge on design trends & developments to proactively bring creative ideas to the team, with the ability to bring them to life
- Experience working in a fast‑paced media environment, with strong decision making skills and the ability to work independently
