Role Summary
We supply research and images to various magazines and independent projects, assist with IP and licensing queries, and are responsible for the upkeep of the library and archive between the Adelphi offices and the Crown storage site in Stockwell. The role involves dayâtoâday archive and library operations, DAM upkeep, image scanning, and supplying research to other departments.
What you will be doing
- Upkeep of the archive and library (rehousing items, tracking book returns, maintaining collections)
- Data entry into our DAM system
- Undertaking directed research, via digital search or handâsearch
- Proper handling, retrieval and returning of valuable and fragile materials
- Scanning of negatives, prints and magazine layouts for digitisation (training supplied)
Who you are
- Possess a fashion, photography, art history or archiveârelated degree and experience working in an archive or library
- Interested in history, fashion, photography and archival practices
- Meticulous with a strong eye for detail
- Comfortable using basic Excel, DAM software, digital databases, and possibly basic Photoshop
- Fluent in English
