The Role
We seek an inspirational and strategic Lifestyle Director to lead the growth and development of House & Garden’s premium lifestyle content, overseeing all aspects of lifestyle editorial coverage including food, travel, and bespoke events. This senior leadership role involves shaping the brand’s voice, elevating storytelling, and building strategic partnerships to establish House & Garden as an authority in sophisticated living.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative lifestyle content strategies across print, digital, social, and events.
- Lead and inspire the editorial team, fostering creativity and high standards.
- Oversee commissioning, editing, and publication of features and special issues, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
- Cultivate relationships with designers, garden specialists, culinary experts, travel partners, and luxury brands for exclusive content and collaborations.
- Create premium digital content including articles, videos, and social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with commercial teams on brand partnerships, sponsored content, and activations.
- Organize flagship events, awards, and industry panels to position House & Garden as a thought leader.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Represent the brand at industry events and client meetings.
