The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Writer to join GLAMOUR on a 6 month FTC.

You’ll bring excellent writing skills, a solid grasp of SEO and a genuine passion for Glamour and the subjects we explore.

What will you be doing?

  • Write SEO-optimised content to support organic search visibility and traffic growth.
  • Produce timely, data-informed stories based on platform recommendations and audience insights.
  • Support audience development strategies aligned with editorial objectives.
  • Contribute to a balanced content workflow by handling routine and SEO-driven content.
  • Play a key role in future-proofing the brand’s digital strategy as algorithms and traffic sources evolve.
  • Contribute to Glamour’s original storytelling, reportage features and long reads and be brimming with brilliant feature ideas.
  • Contribute to social video content where required.

About you

  • Genuine interest in and passion for Glamour and the topics it covers
  • Strong writing and interviewing skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Understanding of SEO and how to optimise content for search
  • Familiarity with CMS and digital publishing tools
  • Knowledge of analytics and audience development strategies
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced editorial environment
  • Confident communicator and collaborative team player
  • Comfortable in front of the camera and producing social video content
  • Previous journalistic experience and/ or relevant degree
