The World of Interiors are looking for an experienced Designer to join the team.

Working closely with the Art Director and Digital Director, you’ll produce elegant stories for both print and digital, propose creative solutions to design challenges and bring a sharp eye to everything from typography to image selection.

Responsibilities include preparing artwork for web features and social content, designing visuals for press materials and digital platforms and collaborating closely with editorial teams to enhance the user experience across our online channels. We’re looking for an enthusiastic communicator and team player, bursting with creative ideas.

The role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the Art Director and Digital team to develop high-level visual solutions.
  • Designing editorial content for online, social, print supplements and the main magazine.
  • Maintaining brand standards across all platforms and properties.
  • Attending shoots and maximising assets for use across both print and digital channels.
  • Creating social media assets in collaboration with the Digital team to promote The World of Interiors across its channels.
  • Bringing passion for fresh creative thinking and bold ideas to both clients and the team.
  • Championing smart, innovative approaches to deliver on the brand’s needs.

About you

  • Experience of working across print and website platforms is essential.
  • Experience in animation, After Effects.
  • Experience in video editing, Premiere.
  • Good background and understanding of typography.
  • InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Good eye for clean, clear design that reflects the needs of the brand.
  • Organisational skills, able to multitask under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic communicator and team player.
  • Bursting with creative ideas for pitches.
