Condé Nast Entertainment was launched in 2011 to develop film, television and premium digital video programming.

Tatler is looking for a talented and motivated Designer to deliver high‑quality creative work across the print magazine’s main book and supplements. The successful candidate will have a passion for magazine design, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. You’ll work closely with the Art Director and senior editors to ensure the highest quality of creative output is achieved and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

  • Design Tatler’s print pages for both the main book and supplements to the highest standard as part of a skilled Art team.
  • Support the Art Director in Art desk duties, including checking proofs, and liaising with the production department to ensure production schedules are adhered to.
  • Think of innovative design solutions for articles that are tricky to illustrate, including commissioning illustrations, and putting together infographics, collages and composites.
  • Work with Tatler’s digital team to create assets for social media to promote Tatler across all channels where required.
  • Occasionally attend shoots for the main magazine and supplements to ensure imagery is on brand and feels glossy and luxurious.
  • Be aware of all tasks the Art desk is responsible for, and work in an agile way between projects to help the desk run smoothly.

About you / Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on a leading magazine as an innovative, hands-on designer.
  • Excellent knowledge of and passion for magazine design, photography and typography.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Highly organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple features across various issues and projects simultaneously.
  • An established network of connections with top-end photographers, stylists and illustrators is desirable.
  • Organised team player with strong communication skills.
