The Role
VETTE is seeking a Product Manager to lead platform development across marketplace functionality, e-commerce infrastructure, and strategic technology partnerships. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, design, and external integrations, ensuring the tech stack, partner ecosystem, and product roadmap scale cohesively.
What will you be doing?
- Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute product roadmap across marketplace, platform, and internal tooling.
- Translate company strategy into clear product priorities and releases.
- Balance user experience, technical constraints, and business goals.
- Own product documentation, specifications, and success metrics.
- Technology & Platform Ownership
- Oversee platform architecture decisions with engineering leadership.
- Manage the evolving VETTE tech stack and tooling ecosystem.

- Lead build versus buy decisions across backend tools and infrastructure.
- Partnership Integrations
- Own relationships with key platform partners (Shopify, Meta, Substack, Ethyca, etc.).
- Scope, prioritise, and launch new integrations.
- Work with engineering to ensure clean API implementations.
- Identify strategic partners that unlock new marketplace capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner closely with design to ensure a design‑led product approach.
- Lead sprint planning, prioritisation, and delivery coordination.
- Act as the primary bridge between business, engineering, and design teams.
- Maintain visibility into timelines, blockers, and dependencies.
- Marketplace & E-commerce Optimisation
- Improve onboarding, merchant tools, transaction flows, and analytics.
- Optimise conversion, retention, and platform usability.

About you
- Strong experience in product management or equivalent startup experience.
- Experience building marketplace, platform, or e‑commerce products.
- Strong technical fluency working with APIs, integrations, and backend systems.
- Proven ability managing engineering and design teams simultaneously.
- Experience launching third‑party integrations or platform partnerships.
- Comfortable operating in fast‑moving startup environments.

- Experience with Shopify ecosystem or headless commerce.
