Condé Nast Traveller is inviting applications for a 12‑month Fixed Term Contract for a Digital Editor.
Responsibilities
- Plan, commission and edit engaging content across digital platforms.
- Plan and maintain a weekly/daily publishing schedule.
- Under the direction of the Digital Director and Audience Growth Manager, monitor performance and analytics to hit KPIs.
- Work with commercial teams to execute native advertising ideas, sponsored editorial packages and offer commercial solutions.
- Oversee annual tentpoles from planning stages to publishing, working closely with global teams across print, social, video, commerce and commercial.
- Finalize and approve all editorial content published on cntraveller.com.
- Act as an ambassador of the brand both internally and externally.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Proven Editor with at least 5 years of experience in commissioning and editing copy, strong eye for house style, sub‑editing and fact‑checking.
- Global address book of on‑brand writers.
- Extensive knowledge of travel and the UK’s food industry, and familiarity with the PR teams that operate within it.
- Exceptional organisation and time‑management skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Experience working across teams and central functions.
- Clear understanding of CNT brand values and tone.
- Strong understanding of SEO, analytics, early trend identification; an always‑in‑the‑know mindset.
- Ability to work across markets (and time zones) with speed and accuracy in reporting.
