Condé Nast is seeking an Art Production Associate to support British Vogue. This position plays a vital role in connecting creative, editorial and operations teams in order to produce the highest quality content. Reporting to Vogue’s European Production Director, the Art Production Associate will be tasked with helping to traffic stories through the editorial workflow, acting as a lynchpin between all content creators, while also delivering story assets to global editions according to strict deadlines. The successful candidate will have a diverse skill set and be comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment working with layouts, images and text, as well as various delivery systems.
What will you be doing?
- Assist Vogue’s European Production Director.
- Collaborate across departments to traffic print stories through the editorial workflow.
- Distribute proofs for review and obtain approvals.
- Gather editorial assets – text, layouts, images – to up-/download for local or global use, and for Apple News+.
- Create, organise and monitor editorial communication channels on Slack.
- Inspect and quality-check layouts for shipping.
- Liaise with Print Production.
- Communicate with the Technology team to solve any technical issues.
- Occasionally support work across brands or departments. May provide support for other Vogue markets.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
About you
- Relevant academic coursework or internships in graphic design, publishing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign and a working knowledge of Photoshop; Illustrator a plus.
- Experience using K4 or similar content management system a plus.
- Highly organised and with a sharp eye for detail.
- A skilled multi-tasker who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Strong and diplomatic communication skills – the successful candidate will work with stakeholders across several departments.
- Tech-savvy.
- Fluent English speaker; other languages a plus.
