We’re proud to be experts in what we do and are looking for a Test Technician to join our brilliant team.
The Role
Reporting to the Test Manager, working alongside our experienced production team, as a Test Technician you will be responsible for the testing our cutting edge embedded computer products and systems.
This role will be based at our Colchester site on a full-time basis working 37.5 hours, Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, and Friday 8am to 12:30pm.
What will I be delivering?
- Configuring and testing systems for final test to ensure successful delivery to our worldwide customers.
- Testing on the bench of the I/O in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
- Other duties may include light mechanical assembly and thermal testing.

What do I need to bring with me?
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
- Competent user of Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel
- Use of PC’s and their operating systems • Experience working in a test environment
Desired
- Competent use of common test equipment – DMMs, oscilloscopes
- Experience in fault finding to component level • Installation of software both at board and computer level • Familiarity with working in an ISO 9001 accredited company
