The Role

Reporting into the Technical Support Manager, you will be interfacing with customers to assist in the use of our hardware and software, thus ensuring customer satisfaction. This is an office-based, hands-on role which requires good problem-solving skills along with good organization skills.

What will I be delivering?

  • Daily technical customer support.
  • Explain to customers how to make the most of complex technologies.
  • Set up systems in the lab to replicate applications our customers are trying to set up.
  • Write application notes/white papers.
  • Work with a team of engineers based in LA, Woburn or the UK.
  • Main technical contact point for our US-based tier 1 customers.
  • Regularly liaise with teams of design engineers.
  • System setup for evaluation.

This is a fast-paced job where it is critical to promptly log and address requests received.

What do I need to bring with me?

Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience working directly with customers.
  • High level knowledge of embedded engineering.
  • Pre and post sales customer support.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of VPX, VME, CPCI.
  • Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows & VxWorks.
  • Embedded System assembly and integration.

Behavioral Competencies

  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Confident in presenting and interacting with customers.
  • Collaboration.
