The Role
Reporting into the Technical Support Manager, you will be interfacing with customers to assist in the use of our hardware and software, thus ensuring customer satisfaction.
What will I be delivering?
- Daily technical customer support
- The role is to explain to customers how to make the most of what is a complex technology. This can involve setting up systems in the lab to replicate applications our customers are trying to set up.
- Application notes/white papers will have to be written.
- You will be working with a team of engineers based in LA, Woburn or the UK.
- You will be the main technical contact point for our US-based tier 1 customers and will be expected to regularly liaise with teams of design engineers.
- System setup for evaluation.
- This is a fast-paced job where it is critical to promptly log and address requests received.
What do I need to bring with me?
Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience- Previous experience working directly with customers.
- High level knowledge of embedded engineering.
- Pre and post sales customer support.
- Technical knowledge of VPX, VME, CPCI.
- Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows & VxWorks.
- Embedded System assembly and integration.
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
- Confident in presenting and interacting with customers.
- Collaboration.
- Analytical and methodical.
