The Strategic People Business Partner is a trusted advisor to senior leaders and a key member of the Products leadership team, responsible for aligning people strategy with business goals. This role drives organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent strategy, and cultural initiatives to support sustainable growth and high performance across our Products Business. The business has experienced 25% headcount growth over the past two years and operates in a high-change, acquisitive environment, making adaptability and hands-on collaboration essential. We are looking for someone who is proactive, pragmatic, and willing to roll up their sleeves to make a tangible impact.
What will I be delivering?
- Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment
- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned to business goals.
- Translate business goals into actionable workforce plans (capacity, capability, structure).
- Talent & Workforce Strategy
- Lead workforce planning and succession planning processes.
- Drive talent reviews, performance management, and high-potential development.
- Support leadership capability development and coaching.
- Organisational Design & Effectiveness
- Lead change management initiatives for restructures, integrations, or transformations.
- Facilitate team effectiveness and engagement interventions.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Champion culture initiatives aligned with target culture.
- Analyse culture data and implement action plans.
- Address employee relations matters with a balanced business-risk perspective.
- Performance
- Drive performance management cycles and calibration processes.
- Partner with the Central team on compensation reviews and pay-for-performance alignment.
- HR Metrics & Governance
- Leverage people analytics to identify trends and recommend interventions.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
- Mitigate people-related risks.
What do I need to bring with me?
- Experience supporting leadership and/or executive teams.
- Proven experience in workforce planning and organisational design.
- Experience in change management and transformation initiatives.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent practical experience in a senior people role.
