The Role
As Manufacturing Supervisor, you'll lead day-to-day production activities across our manufacturing operation, overseeing the assembly and delivery of high-performance embedded computing and mission-critical technology solutions used in some of the world's most demanding environments.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing others, improving processes and making a visible impact on operational success.
What will I be delivering?
- Lead, coach and develop a team of manufacturing employees, creating a positive, accountable and high-performing culture.
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure products are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor performance, resolve production issues and remove barriers to keep operations running efficiently.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, productivity and the employee experience.
- Be an ambassador of our target culture, modelling the expected standards and behaviours.
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Programmes to support business objectives and customer commitments.
- Champion health, safety and compliance, ensuring all activities are carried out in line with company and regulatory requirements.
What do I need to bring with me?
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or operations supervisory position.
- Strong people leadership skills with a passion for developing and supporting others.
- Demonstrated experience managing production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance operational priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using manufacturing performance metrics and KPIs to drive results.
- Working knowledge of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
Desirable:
- Experience within electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities.
- Understanding of ERP/MRP systems and production planning processes.
