Are you a 1st or 2nd year student who is obsessed with social media, storytelling and creativity? Then come create, learn and make an impact this summer with our Social Media Internship. Concrete Canvas Ltd is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our marketing team for a three-month summer placement focused exclusively on social media. This is a hands‐on role where you'll gain real-world experience managing and creating content for a global B2B brand.
You’ll work closely with our Digital Marketing Executive to help plan, create, schedule and analyse content across our social channels — showcasing projects, products, people and behind-the-scenes moments from across the business. No extensive experience required — just creativity, curiosity and a passion for social media.
The Role
- Assist with planning and scheduling content across our social media channels
- Create engaging social media copy aligned with brand tone and messaging
- Design simple graphics and visuals using tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite
- Support the creation of short‐form video content (reels, clips, animations)
- Monitor engagement, comments and messages, escalating where appropriate
- Help track performance and prepare basic analytics reports
- Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest new content ideas
- Support campaign activity, launches and event-related content
What We’re Looking For
- A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Design or similar
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- A strong interest in social media, digital marketing and content creation
- Familiarity with major social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X)
- Basic design or video skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc. – not essential but a plus)
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks
- An interest in engineering, construction or infrastructure is beneficial but not required
