We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Client Service Representative / Administrator to join our team in Abingdon, VA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and values delivering outstanding client service.
About the Role
The Client Service Representative plays a key role in supporting our financial advisors and delivering a seamless, high-touch experience to our clients. You’ll help manage operational tasks, maintain organization within the office, and communicate directly with clients to address requests, assist with account servicing, and ensure that our day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Process new account openings, account maintenance requests, contributions, and withdrawals
• Respond to client service requests and inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
• Handle incoming calls and manage daily correspondence
• Prepare and mail client documentation and periodic communications
• Coordinate advisor calendars and support meeting scheduling
• Manage office supply inventory and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Support internal team workflows and assist with various administrative duties
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of administrative or client service experience
• Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
• Professional, client-first demeanor with a team-oriented attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with financial software a plus
• Previous experience in a financial services environment is helpful, but not required
