Company Overview: Concord Visa, a dynamic spin-out from Crimson Education, is transforming global immigration and global mobility services tailored for high-growth tech companies and exceptional global talent. We already operate in the US, Australia, and New Zealand, and have processed over 3,000 visas globally. Now, we are expanding into the United Kingdom.

We support exceptional founders, operators, and professionals to achieve their dreams wherever those dreams may take them. Our clients include individuals and companies such as Andreessen Horowitz, Airtree, Zuru, Tracksuit, Ideally, Alimetry, Allsite, Partly, and more.

Founded by experienced tech startup founders and operators who have built and scaled companies multiple times, Concord understands first-hand the complexities of cross-border growth. Backed by a world-class product and engineering team, we are building modern, AI-powered immigration solutions that make global mobility seamless, transparent, and efficient.

Engagement Structure: We are currently in the process of registering our own organisation with the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) and anticipate completing this within approximately 3 months. Our strong preference is to find a candidate who currently holds their own IAA-approved organisation registration so that we can begin working together immediately under a contractor arrangement while we complete our own registration concurrently. Once our IAA registration is in place, the role will transition to a permanent, full-time position within Concord.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a core team member shaping Concord's business, product, and culture in the UK from the ground up.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding immigration support: Provide accurate, strategic, and empathetic advice across key UK visa categories including Skilled Worker visas, Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) visas, Global Talent visas, Innovator Founder visas, and other business immigration routes.
  • Manage sponsor compliance: Handle sponsor licence applications, renewals, and compliance obligations for employer clients, including SMS (Sponsor Management System) reporting duties and right-to-work requirements.
  • Guide diverse clients: Work closely with founders, operators, scale-ups, and high-growth companies to scope, assess, and manage cases, delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Shape the product: Partner with our engineering and product teams to turn immigration know-how into workflows, checklists, and automation within Concord's tech platform.
  • Business builder: As our first UK hire, support setting up operational foundations including compliance processes, client engagement playbooks, and best-practice systems for the UK market.
  • Contribute to strategy: As part of the founding team, have direct input into Concord's roadmap, marketing, and hiring as we scale in the UK and globally.
  • Monitor legal changes: Keep up to date with the latest UK immigration policy, rule changes, and case law to update and inform the wider team.
  • Opportunities to grow into leadership roles in compliance, product innovation, and team management as Concord expands.
  • Involvement in shaping organizational culture, strategic decisions, and technological development.
  • Access to future opportunities within the Crimson Education network.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current IAA registration at Level 1 or higher (formerly OISC Level 1).
  • Capable of starting as a contractor via your registered IAA-approved organisation or individual status prior to own registration (at which point we will transition to a permanent, full-time role).
  • 3+ years of professional experience across UK business immigration casework, with strong coverage in Skilled Worker, Global Talent, Innovator Founder, and sponsor licence work.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex case portfolios efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders — from founders to HR leaders.
  • Interest in bridging immigration expertise with technology, contributing to product and process design.
  • Experience handling both corporate and individual immigration cases.
  • Experience handling Skilled Worker visas, Innovator and Start-up visas, Investor visas (e.g., Global Talent / Innovator investor routes), Spouse, Unmarried Partner, Civil Partner, Adult Dependant, Student, and Visitor visas.
  • Experience operating your own IAA-registered immigration consultancy or advisory practice.
  • Prior experience working with technology companies, startups, or high-growth businesses.
  • Familiarity with immigration systems in other jurisdictions (US, Australia, New Zealand).
  • ILPA membership or active involvement in immigration law professional networks.
