We are looking for an Assistant General Manager / Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts for Head Office. He is responsible for preparing and controlling the budget while considering the costing and monitoring the team members' work to ensure they fulfil their responsibilities in line with job descriptions and time management, addressing business objectives and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of their performance.
This role ensures the correctness and accuracy of the accounting treatment, which aids management in making effective economic decisions and submitting reports to regulatory bodies.
- Budgeting: Planning for a budget is achieved by comparing the company's current income to expenses and ensuring that spending does not exceed the budgeted amount. Prepare the budget properly to control expenses.
- Costing & Cost Minimising: Determine the cost of products to set sales prices. Minimise product costs by surveying market prices of materials linked with SCM and improving production capacity through experimentation, resulting in competitive pricing and maximising profit.
- Financial Performance Analysis: Measure the company's overall financial health over a given period and compare it with similar companies across the same industry or sectors. Analyse and interpret financial statements to diagnose profitability and financial soundness.
- Monitor, Follow up & Co-operation: Monitor and follow up to help management determine employee efficiency, allowing for beneficial changes. Monitor performance to catch mistakes early and improve work practices for both employees and the business.
- Compliance of Bookkeeping System with Standards: Ensure compliance of the bookkeeping system with standards to enforce transparency. Provide accurate and reliable information about accounts to shareholders, management, or regulatory authorities. Keep records, verify, and report on the value of the company's assets, liabilities, debts, revenue, and expenses.
- Controlling: Eliminate the risk of non-conformity between actual performance and the company's main targets.
- Reporting to Top Management: Provide various financial data analyses for effective economic decision-making for future business extensions or new business units. Prepare management accounts and tax accounts annually.
