Job Overview

We are seeking a well‑qualified and experienced Electrician to support the maintenance and development of the college’s electrical infrastructure. Your work will encompass a range of tasks, including installation of vehicle‑charging POD points, maintenance and fault‑finding of air and ground source heating systems, air‑conditioning systems, and routine electrical work such as changing a 3‑pin plug.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems across the college.
  • Provide reliable support for the college’s heating, cooling and charging facilities.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, adapting quickly to the needs of a boarding school environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff and other stakeholders at all levels.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (total 37.5 hours per week) with daily unpaid breaks (half‑hour lunch and two 15‑minute tea breaks). Flexibility of start/finish times and additional hours outside term time are required.
