As a Night Luggage Porter, you will ensure to follow all standards of procedure to ensure that a high standard of customer service is provided, and our hotel guests' comfort, satisfaction and safety is catered for in a friendly, helpful, efficient, and personalised manner at all times.

What will you be doing?

  • To maintain a high-profile presence in the hotel lobby area and be accessible to guests and clients at all times.
  • To ensure all guest and customer requests or needs are given priority over any other task and that they are treated in a courteous and helpful manner at all times, in order to present the very best possible first and last impression of the hotel, its staff, services and facilities.
  • To ensure that all work areas the lobby and other designated public areas are kept clean and tidy to the required standards.
  • To possess accurate and up to date knowledge and information and be able to answer guests’ general tourist enquiries, regarding details about or transport and directions to major tourist attractions, shows, tours and events in and around London and the UK.
  • To ensure all clock rounds and kitchen checks are carried out correctly, (twice nightly) and that any problems arising are reported to the Night Managers logbook.
  • To ensure all documentation regarding car park charges is always neat and accurate.
  • To meet and greet or obtain guest taxis as and when required or requested.
  • To ensure all guest or customer complaints, compliments or comments on any important matters are reported to the head Concierge, Duty Manager and or other members of the Hotel Management.
  • To carry out any other reasonable request made by a member of the Hotel Management Team and hotel guests to the best of your ability.
