As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining modern web applications using ASP.NET/ASP.Net Core, C#, and SQL Server, while gaining exposure to front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. You will work closely with senior developers, applying best practices in software development, database management, and front-end integration.

And as a Net Developer with Concerto, you’ll do it by…

  • Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using C#, ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
  • Help develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support web applications.
  • Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Follow coding best practices, including object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback to other developers, and collaborate with senior team members.
  • Independently debug and troubleshoot application issues, collaborating with other developers when needed.
  • Learn and apply security best practices, including authentication and authorisation.
  • Collaborate with team members in an Agile development environment.
  • Maintain documentation related to development tasks and application features.
What does it take?

  • 2-5 years of experience in C# web development using ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, including database querying and schema design.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and how they interact with front-end applications.
  • Some exposure to version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Willingness to learn and apply software development best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Have
  • Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerisation concepts.
  • Basic experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Interest in Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI or SSRS.
Working arrangements
