From a Finance department perspective, a fast paced, varied and multi-funtional department bringing all these elements together in a clear way.
As we enter into the summer holiday season, we are seeking a proactive, self-sufficient ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to support our finance team on a 3 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT in a varied and adaptive capacity.
- IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED (or at least the ability to start over the next 2weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support the month-end close process including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the analysis of variances against budget and forecast
- Weekly performance reports
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Skills And Experience
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Strong MS Excel capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
