Are you an experienced Intruder Alarm Engineer looking for a new challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and expanding security systems provider working across West London and nearby areas.

The Role

As a Security Faults / Reactive Engineer, you'll be responsible for reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault-finding across a range of Intruder Alarm systems. You'll also work on Access Control, CCTV, and Fire Alarm systems, providing a prompt and professional service to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing and fault-finding on Intruder Alarm systems (conventional and wireless).
  • Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and effectively.
  • Support maintenance of Emergency Lighting, Access Control, and Door Entry systems.
  • Work on IP and analogue CCTV systems, including basic networking.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and NSI codes of practice.
  • Communicate with customers in a clear and professional manner.

Skills and Experience

  • Solid experience with Intruder Alarm systems is essential.
  • Additional knowledge of Fire Alarms is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Dual Com monitoring and communication devices.
  • Comfortable working with all major brands of security panels and app-based systems.
  • Knowledge of NSI codes of practice and current industry standards.
  • Full UK manual driving license is required.

You're likely based in or near West London and have strong technical abilities in Intruder Alarms and related systems. You're self-motivated, organised, and confident working independently in the field. Great communication and problem-solving skills are a must.
