The Role

As a senior member of our team, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of site investigation projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and commercial performance. Your role goes beyond project delivery: you’ll be a mentor, client partner, and technical authority helping to shape the direction of both our projects and our people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple ground investigation projects from inception to completion.
  • Approve project-specific RAMs, financial programmes, and deliverables.
  • Champion safety, technical integrity, and innovation in project delivery.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Oversee and mentor logging, reporting, and data quality assurance.
  • Support the bid team in pricing and tendering for new work.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and geologists.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Chartered Geologist / Chartered Engineer (or working towards) preferred.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, Engineering Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of GI specifications, Eurocode 7, British Standards, ICE/NEC contracts.
  • Excellent client management and leadership skills.
  • PTS certification desirable (training can be provided).
  • Commitment to raising standards and sharing knowledge.
