Salary: Circa Β£40,000 + Paid overtime
An AV Technology company for the future who are rapidly expanding and driving forward the most up to date Technology in Digital Signage, Audio Visual and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out first and second fix installation activities on time and to the required standard.
- Have excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skills.
- Working under instruction from Senior Engineers and Project Managers, but also to think laterally and suggest engineering solutions on site.
- Working from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and drawings, including ensuring that any changes are reflected on the schematics.
- Manage, motivate and be responsible for an onsite project team.
- To be responsible for the quality and productivity of the project team ensuring that the required level of professionalism is maintained.
- To ensure that systems are made ready for handover from installation to commissioning, including documentation.
- Installation of Video Conferencing systems.
- Installation of Audio Visual systems.
Key Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
- CTS Qualified would be an advantage.
- Strong ability to work alone and on own initiative.
- Ability to carry out installation activities on time and to the required standard.
- Be organized, flexible and able to overcome challenges during the working day.
- Very good communication skills.
- To have a good understanding of 1st and 2nd fix AV installations.
- Have excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skills.
- To be able to work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and projector drawings.
- Have strong mechanical skills.
- Experience and understanding of control systems, AMX/Crestron would be an advantage.
- Experience and understanding of Video Conferencing systems would be an advantage.
- The ideal candidate will have at least two yearsβ experience of production and wiring methods and carried out previous installation work in the AV industry.
- A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
