Concept are currently recruiting for experienced IT/EPOS engineers based in Bristol/Reading/London/Essex to assist with EPOS and SCO Installations for a large project starting ASAP. The successful engineers will work on a 3 month contract with the possibility of the contract being extended.
Details of the role:
- Swap out of EPOS and SCOs
- Installation of software onto pre-staged devices
- Resolve any issues if and when they occur
- Complete sign off and sign out
- Work as a team under instruction of lead engineer
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Sunday day work (working 5 days min per week including weekends and some evening works)
- 8 hours per day
- Start/End times will vary dependent on schedule
- Expectation of 5 days' work per week per engineer
Travel will be a requirement of this role - engineer must have access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate business insurance, valid MOT. Hotels will be arranged in advance by the client. No restriction on number of sites per day.
Required skillset:
- Experienced field engineers with experience of script-based ATM/Epos/IT project work, engineers must have basic fault finding skills
- Must have a full UK Driving license and own reliable vehicle with business insurance
- Must have standard engineering toolkit, PPE hard hat/boots etc.
- Must have ECS/equivalent Health and Safety accreditation & Asbestos awareness training (or willingness to complete relevant courses if successful)
- Be comfortable in completing script-based activity
Rate details:
- £150 per day shift based on a 9 hour day including travel
- Overtime more than 9 hours is paid at £16.66 per hour
- £180 per night shift based on 9 night shift including travel
- Nights Overtime more than 9 hours is paid at £20 per hour
- Mileage claimable after 100 miles per day, 25ppm thereafter
- Travel expenses such as parking, bridges, and tolls etc claimable back weekly on expenses
