Concept Engineering Consultants are seeking a compliance administrator to join the team and support the effective management of our operations.

Concept Engineering Services, part of the Phenna Group’s Infrastructure Division, is a leading provider of ground investigation services across the UK.

Working within a specialist network of six geo companies, we pride ourselves on technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

We are proud to be the primary supplier of site investigations to the London market, but also work throughout the UK.

We have more experience in urban site investigations than almost anyone else in the industry – skills which we can take to other urban areas, both nationally and internationally.

The Role

As a member of the group support team, you’ll work alongside other departments to maintain and manage our internal compliance operating systems, as well as working with external stakeholders to ensure the company remains complaint with external accreditations and requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Supporting the central fleet function by maintaining fleet management systems, driver records and compliance databases, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and audit-ready.
  • Working with HR to book company training, maintaining competency records and monitoring certification and expiry dates to ensure employees remain compliant with role-specific requirements.
  • Managing facilities compliance activities, including fire safety checks, emergency lighting, Legionella monitoring, waste management, contractor coordination and building inspections.
  • Maintaining records and collecting data to support environmental reporting, sustainability initiatives and carbon emissions monitoring.
  • Supporting business accreditations, including ISO, CHAS, Constructionline and RISQS, by maintaining documentation and coordinating audit requirements.
  • Assisting with supply chain administration and procurement activities, providing support and cover when required.
  • Coordinating security clearances and vetting for employees working on secure or high-profile projects.
  • Providing operational administration support, including project setup, travel and accommodation bookings, PPE management, office supplies, client visits and internal events.
  • Supporting company-wide improvement projects relating to fleet, compliance, facilities and operational processes, ensuring key milestones and audit deadlines are achieved.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who likes to take a lead on operational and administrative systems. To be successful, you should have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, fleet, compliance or facilities role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple systems, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Experience of monitoring compliance processes and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in preparing reports, KPIs, and updates for management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with managers, project teams, and external stakeholders.
