We are currently looking for an electrical project engineer to join a well-established controls and automation company based in the Dartford area. This company specialises in bespoke electrical solutions within the switchgear industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from sales handover to project completion, ensuring specifications, timelines, and budget constraints are met.
- Develop control panel / switchgear arrangements & products by studying customer requirements.
- Ensuring correct selection of components from suppliers that meet with suitability, availability and budget targets.
- Overseeing of product design and build stage through to installation and commissioning.
- Integrate with production manager for factory production scheduling.
- Liaise with suppliers ensuring adherence to project schedules.
- Liaise with clients, attending client site meetings, leading client FAT and SAT.
- Producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments for onsite installations.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification(s) in Electrical Engineering.
- Able to read, interpret and follow engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of LV installations, HV an advantage.
- Experience in the specification, function and manufacture of LV switchgear, HV an advantage.
- Good knowledge and understanding of relevant standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and experience of ePlan or equivalent CAD packages.
